Alumil Rom Industry - Bucharest (BSE:ALU) stayed on the ascending trend started a few years ago and posted an unconsolidated turnover 49.46 million RON for the first half of the year, up by 37.6% year-on-year. According to Alumil management, the increase in turnover was generated by the fast growth of the Romanian construction industry. Alumil consolidated their lead on the aluminum profile market and expanded the distribution network.
The company reported a 10.7% year-on-year increase in operating profit to 6.43 million RON and a 4% increase in net profit to 5.84 million RON. Starting on June 10th, Alumil paid dividends totaling 11.25 million RON, equal to 82% of the net profit. In line with a General Meeting decision dated May 16th, shareholders will receive gross dividends of 0.36 RON/share.
