EnglishRaiffeisen Leasing signed two 15-year financing contracts totalling 18.4 million EUR with Continental Hotels, so that the latter can acquire two hotels, according to a Raiffeisen Leasing press release. Thus, Continental Hotels has acquired Continental Arad for 8.4 million EUR and IBIS Parlament Bucharest for 10 million EUR, following a sale-leaseback financing contract.
Continental Hotels SA ended 2006 with a turnover of over 85 million RON, recording a 120% increase from the previous year. The company"s net profit rose by 11% from 2005, amounting to 14 million RON.
Last year, Raiffeisen Leasing landed nearly 2,500 contracts totaling 114 million EUR. Part of Austrian group Raiffeisen International, Raiffeisen Leasing IFN SA has a share capital of 14.93 million RON.
