EnglishThe National Land Development Administration (ANIF) yesterday announced that the rehabilitation of the pumping - drainage station in SPE Balteni had been completed. The overall value of the works is 5,478,000 RON.
The execution took two years (between November 2007 and October 2009). The station is located on the right side of the Prut River, in the village of Balteni, Iasi County.
"This investment is very important and necessary for improving excess water drainage from the embanked drainage area at Trifesti - Sculeni, which services an area of 8,130 hectares," a press release from ANIF indicates.
The Ministry of Agriculture was the principal credit manager, whereas ANIF was the beneficiary.
