EnglishCuriero, a leading Romanian courier company, posted 3.3 million EUR in turnover at the end of Q1, up by 190% year-on-year, and intends to double the full-year turnover to 16.6 million EUR. Last year, the company posted an EBITDA of 980,000 EUR.
In the near future, the company will include deliveries to satellite communities in the price of a delivery in the main city and is planning to invest 250,000 EUR for this purpose.
The domestic courier service market totaled 85 million EUR and is likely to gain 40% in 2007. The overall courier service market, which includes external deliveries, totaled 140 million EUR and is set to reach 200 million EUR.
