Real estate consultants Cushman & Wakefield will open an office in Dubai to service all the surrounding markets, namely the United Arab Emirates, the Persian Gulf, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Michael Atwell, a Partner with Cushman & Wakefield, has relocated to Dubai to coordinate the opening of the new office and to supervise its future expansion. Michael Atwell used to work in the Middle East before and, for the past seven years, he has been running the Investments Department in Warsaw, according o a press release from the company. Cushman & Wakefield are already working for several major corporations, including NSN, Nokia and GlaxoSmithKline. At global level, the firm represents several leading Middle East funds. Cushman & Wakefield CEO Paul Bacon said Dubai was one of the most important cities for investments and transactions and a top destinations for some of the world"s leading tenants. Consequently, the growth potential of the Middle East real estate market is quite substantial.
