Dacia Renault sold 14,915 units on the French market in the first six months of the year, up by 31% from the 11,385 units sold in the corresponding period of 2006. The company thus secured 1.1% of the French market, up from 0.8% in H1:2006.
In June, the company sold 2,769 units, up by 34.5% from June 2006 in contrast with the overall downward trend on the French market. French dealers sold 260,303 cars in June, down by 3% year-on-year, whereas Renault sold 65,694 units, down by 16.7% year-on-year. The figures for the first six months of the year are -1.9% for the overall market and -5.7% for Renault.
