Shareholders in Dafora Medias will convene today to approve last year"s financial results, as well as the company"s cobjectives for the current year. For 2007, Dafora expects a net profit 14.441.000 RON, up 40% year-on-year. The company forecasts revenues of 211.335.000 RON, up 26% yoy and expenses of 194.142.000 RON, up 24% compared to 2006.
The increase in revenues will be done through securing larger construction contracts and, as far as drilling activities are concerned, the company plans to maintain its position as leader on the domestic market and to expand its operations abroad. The increase in expenses will be mainly due to the investments planned for this year, which will amount to 16.419.000 EUR.
Dafora concluded 2006 with a turnover of 151.557.956 RON, up 13% yoy and a net profit of 10.261.434 RON, up 58% from 2005. Last year, the company increased its share capital from 3.309.000 RON to 9.226.500 RON. Dafora is listed on Rasdaq as DAFR.
