Dan Voiculescu Joins Copos' Business, Ana Imep

Grivco Group and Camelia Rodica Voiculescu, daughter to business man Dan Voiculescu, who is on the management of Grivco, have bought 9.99 percent in Pitesti-based Ana Imep, controlled by George Copos through Ana Group. The change in Ana Imep's shareholder structure occurred as a result of share trading on RASDAQ, June 14th, when 6.44 percent in the company changed hands for some 40 billion ROL.

The seller was Cyprus-based Banwell, which had held a total of 7.71 percent prior to the transaction. Banwell sold the remaining shares to General Nic Import Export SRL for some eight billion ROL. General Nic thus came to a total of 5.6 percent in engine-maker Ana Imep. General Nic is controlled by Niculaie Ghinea, who also controls Dunarea Com SRL, Rainbow Group SRL, Globimex SRL etc.

Besides changes in the shareholder structure, Ana Imep is also undergoing management changes. The company will by run by Ana Industrial Investments SRL, an asset management company. For this purpose, Ana Industrial Investments will take over a majority stake of 73.42 percent in Ana Imep from Ana Group.
