Datanet Systems Doubles Turnover

Datanet Systems, a major player in IP communications solutions and services segment in Romania, last year posted 18 million USD in turnover. The company"s two main lines of business are providing communications equipment and profesional services, which account for respectively 70% and 30% of total turnover.

The financial results of Datanet Systems are due to a better positioning in the market as Cisco Gold Partener, the company"s efforts toward an efficient management, as well as increased performance of all departments and improvement of services and expertise in Carrier Class infrastructure technologies for IP communications, Application Networking, Unified Communications, Unified Contact Center and IP Network Security.

Lat year, Datanet Systems also developed its training activities. As sole certified Cisco training partner in Romania, Datanet Systems organized more than 10 types of Cisco courses, attended by over 200 specialists from renown companies and institutions in our country.

In 2007, Datanet plans to maintain its growth by entering the European market, maintaining the positive results of the Enterprise and Service Provider divisions, developing business in the SMB and Mid Market fields, developing professional services and technical assistance, as well as diversifying training activities and entering new partnerships with Romanian and foreign companies.

Datanet Systems was established in 1998, having as main activities consulting, technical assistance and sales of data/voice/video networking equipment.The company is one of the main suppliers of communication technology for most of the banking and financial institutions and telecom operators in Romania.
