"Organe de Asamblare" Braşov ended the year 2010 with a turnover of 17.192 million lei, two times higher than in 2009, when it only amounted to 8.555 million lei. Exports account for more than half of the company"s business - 9.806 million lei, over four times higher than in the previous year, when the level of exports had only amounted to 2.339 million lei. The company"s profit increased 84.45% during the reviewed period, from 36,672 lei to 67,672 lei.
Out of the total amount approved for investments of 1,049,700 Euros, the amount of 961,700 Euros was used, with the difference being used for buying raw materials, a fact caused by the fact that the price of commodities increased 25% in the first part of 2010.
According to a press release addressed to the Bucharest Stock Exchange, "the investments performed led to an increase in the output of assembly organs, reaching to an average monthly output of 280 tons, and in the second half of the year the average monthly output amounted to 320 tons, significant increases compared to the prior periods, namely 2008 when the average monthly output was 126 tons, or in the year 2009 when the average monthly output was 106 tons".
The products of the company of Braşov are intended for the manufacturers in the auto industry (through direct assembly or indirectly through delivered sub-assemblies), and for the rehabilitation and construction of railroads.
SIF Transilvania holds a stake of over 95% of the shares of the company of Braşov.
