EnglishDexia Kommunalkredit Bank has won the tender for financial services in the form of a 140 million RON loan to finance the upgrade of the Sibiu Airport. The tender was organized by the Sibiu County Council in partnership with the Sibiu Local Council in early April.
According to Sibiu County Council Chairman Martin Bottesch, the invitation to tender was published in Monitorul Oficial, the SEAP (Electronic Public Procurement Service) and the OJEU (Official Journal of The European Union). The other two bidders were BRD - Groupe Societe Generale and the Romanian Commercial Bank. Dexia won with the lowest borrowing cost. The 25-year loan comes with a 5-year grace.
