Literature has a new celebration in the form of a fair. The writers will meet the readers in Iasi. No less than 73 publishing houses from our country will be represented, from April 10 to 14, at Palas Mall Iasi, at the 29th edition of the Librex Book Fair, which this year is held under the title "Pages with word search maps". The organizer of the event, Leonard Radu, director of Librex, said that on an area of 800 square meters, 521 square meters of exhibitors' stands will be set up - distributors and distributors of Romanian and foreign books and publishing houses: "73 publishing houses will be present from Romania, the most important of them, which provide over 60% of the Romanian book production. They come, of course, with the newest publishing appearances, the best-selling titles and the most valuable collections". The agenda of the event includes four conferences held by outstanding personalities of the academic and cultural environment, whose names do not need any introduction, due to the notoriety of the published works: Adrian Cioroianu, "Captives who want to free us. About sovereignists, populists and Eurosceptics" , Alexandru Vlad Ciurea, "Supreme human desire: Brain health", priests Constantin Necula and Francisc Doboş, "Challenges of brotherhood" and Adrian Papahagi, "Artificial intelligence and natural stupidity". "The students of Iaşi will have interesting meetings during the book launches that will take place at Librex or in the organized conferences. There will be present Cătălin Pavel, Ian Cornelius, the academician Ion Pop, the president of the Romanian Academy, Ioan Aurel Pop, the doctor Alexandru Vlad Ciurea, prof. Univ. Adrian Cioroianu, priests Necula si Doboş and Adrian Papahagi. So, a long list of famous names which, we hope, will attract an increasingly large audience", said Leonard Radu. Obviously, the central point of the fair will be the books.
