Dyneff Plans to Lease 100 Filling Stations in France

Rompetrol Group"s French subsidiary Dyneff plans to lease approximately 100 filling stations along French highways, according to a Rompetrol press release quoted by NewsIn.

This move will allow Dyneff to be present nationwide.

In May this year, Rompetrol opened the first petrol station under the Rompetrol brand on the French motorway network, at Arzens, near Carcassonne. Also, Laurent Sancier was appointed as CEO of Dyneff Group, in both France and Spain, as of May 21st. Previously Mr. Sancier worked for nearly 30 years at Shell, most recently as director of Shell France and as their Retail General Manager for France and Benelux. His earlier positions included work in Shell"s downstream operations in the UK, France and Africa.

The company plans to open 10 new Rompetrol branded filling stations in France by the end of 2007, most of them on motorways.This coincides with the introduction by Rompetrol of biofuel on the French market. The company plans to equip about 10 filling stations for superethanol E85 distribution by the end of 2007.

Dyneff Group posted a turnover of 2.3 billion EUR in 2006 and a 4% market share on the French fuel distribution market.
