The Swedish-based investment firm East Capital believes the listing of Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) shares on BSE is a good idea as it would enhance transparency on the Romanian capital market.
Peter Elam Hakansson, the CEO of East Capital, said: "The listing of BSE on its own quota is a good idea; it helps improve transparency and determines the Stock Exchange to act more professionally.
"This was also done on the Swedish Stock Exchange and also on the London Stock Exchange, so it is something normal in the evolution of the capital market." The subject will be discussed by the General Meeting of the BSE on March 16th - 17th.
