Shareholders in Ecopack Ghimbav on Friday approved a share capital increase by 4,04 million RON (1,2 million EUR), as well as the borrowing of an additional 2 million RON from Citibank Romania, according to a company press release sent to Rasdaq, quoted by NewsIn. The company will issue 120.980 new shares with an issue premium of 30,969 RON/share, which is added to the face value of 2,50 RON. The subscription price of a new share is 33,469 RON, the equivalent of 10 EUR. Shareholders can exercise their preemtive rights within a period of 30 days.
Corrugated cardboard and cardboard packaging manufacturer Ecopack Ghimbav has a share capital of 1,63 million RON (approximately 480.000 EUR), divided into 649.280 shares with a face value of 2,5 RON/share. The majority shareholder is Swiss company Kameran Financial AG, holding 72,10% in the company. Ecopack Ghimbav concluded 2005 with a turnover of 50 million RON (13,81 million EUR) and a net profit of 5,4 million RON (1,49 million EUR).
