Education Minister Ligia Deca met with the Director General of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), William D. Magwood, with whom she discussed the importance of nuclear engineering degree programs and the need to have more specialists in this sector. According to the Minister: "I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. William D. According to Ligia Deca, Romania has an important tool - the full dual route, which offers the opportunity to have specialists in the energy field at all levels. The minister also added that, through the programs they offer, universities contribute to one of the most important objectives of the NEA: the need to maintain and develop, through international cooperation, the scientific bases that ensure the responsible use of nuclear energy. "Today's meeting was all the more important as Romania is in the process of joining the OECD, an organization that brings together the most developed countries in the world," Ligia Deca said. The direction is clear, it is important that the steps are taken correctly in terms of training specialists.
