Four brokerage firms, two consortia and two syndicates have placed bids to intermediate the listing of 5% in the Henri Coanda International Airport on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The Ministry of Transport as majority shareholder (80%) will select the best bid.
The bidders are: BT Securities, BRD Securities GSG plus EFG Eurobank Securities, HTI Valori Mobiliare, Raiffeisen Capital & Investment, SSIF Romcapital, Rombell Securities plus KBC Securities Romania, Alpha Finance Romania plus Alpha Bank AE - Greece plus IEBA Trust and Piraeus Securities - Romania.
The procedure started on 20. March. Fondul Proprietatea is a minority shareholder with 20%. The airport budgeted Y2007 revenues of 260 million RON, up by 18% y/y and expenses of 248 million RON. The estimated profit is almost 15 million RON, compared to 9.1 million RON in 2006.
