EnglishLocal education receives a new "injection" with optimism in the form of European funds. The Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, announced that our country will be able to benefit from another 2.2 billion euros for education and professional training, from European funds, through the Education and Employment Operational Program. According to the minister: "Record budget for education and training in Romania! Today we received excellent news: our country will be able to benefit from another 2.2 billion euros for education and professional training, from European funds, through the Education and Employment Operational Program!'' According to the Minister of Education, this amount is added to the 3.5 billion euros from the PNRR, in total, 5.7 billion euros intended for this field: "The European Commission informed us that we have fulfilled the last favorable condition, which meant the adoption of a strategic policy framework for the education and training system, which allows payments from European funds related to the Education and Employment Operational Program. I thank my colleagues from the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity and from the Ministry of Investments and European Projects for the good collaboration in order to fulfill the last favorable condition''. The important thing is that from this moment this money is used efficiently, on valuable projects.
