EnglishOAO Gazprom"s Gazprombank has signed a framework cooperation agreement with Romania"s state-owned Eximbank SA as part of its plan to expand its international business, according to Thomson Financial.
The agreement secures the main cooperation principles of the two financial institutions while organising project finance, commercial banking, payment transactions and other matters.
This agreement is the next move in realisation of Gadprombank"s strategic goals in developing effective cooperation with foreign countries.
Eximbank Romania is a financial agent of the Romanian government, with more than 90% of its shares belonging to the government. Eximbank Romania finances mainly foreign trade .
Gazprombank ranks 5th in terms of capital among the banks of CEE.
