EnglishTargu Mures-based drug retailer Farmaceutica Aesculap SA (Rasdaq - FASU) concluded 2006 with a net profit 25 times higher compared to the previous year, while business gained 13,7%, according to a report to Rasdaq, quoted by NewsIn.
Aesculap concluded last year with a net profit of 533.500 RON, up 25,6 times from 2005, when the company posted 20.811 RON in net profit. Turnover gained 13,7%, reaching 44,18 million RON (13,07 milioane euro), compared to 2005, when business totalled 38,87 million RON. Investments amounted to 1,1 million RON, while overall expenses reached 50,65 million RON.
Farmaceutica Aesculap has a share capital of 6,658 million RON, divided into 66,58 million shares with a face value of 0,10 RON. The majority shareholder is American company Arrow Pharmaceuticals Inc. Florida with 89,63% in Aesculap.
