EnglishThe town of Aiud has its first industrial park, following an investment of approximately 6 million EUR. Stretching over 22,000 square meters, the park is intended to attract investors to an area with significant workforce and an unemployment rate well above the countrywide average. The industrial park is located at the heart of Transylvania and has access to an industrial railway, European Road 81 and the future Transylvania Highway. The park comprises four industrial halls will all the necessary utilities and infrastructure. The local labor is regarded as inexpensive and well qualified, with a long tradition in the metallurgical industry.
