EnglishMaria Schultz, known as Flower Queen, Corneliu Popa, the former Director General of the State Property Agency (ADS), Mihai Ciobanu, the former Contract Management Director of ADS and Ion Dascalu, a partner in Sere Codlea SA, a greenhouse company, have been charged with having defrauded the State of over 5 million EUR through the fraudulent privatization of Sere Codlea and Orser - Oradea.
The National Anti-Graft Prosecutor"s Office has decided to prosecute the aforementioned four for aggravated fraud (three charges against Schultz), repeated fraudulent bankruptcy (two charges against Schultz) and conspiracy to commit aggravated fraud (Popa and Ciobanu, two charges) and conspiracy to commit fraudulent bankruptcy (Dacalu).
