The major summer exams are being prepared for as early as winter. The Polytechnic University of Timişoara (UPT) is coming to the aid of high school students with a new series of free math preparation courses for the baccalaureate and university admission exams. These preparations do not require any commitment from the participants towards UPT. The lessons, organized by the Department of Mathematics at the Polytechnic University of Timişoara, will take place on Saturdays, in a hybrid format, starting at 10:00, from January 27 to May 25. Students have the option to choose the form of participation. Those who wish to attend in person are expected in Amphitheater D1, Electro building (UPT), Building D, Vasile Pârvan Boulevard, No. 2, Timişoara. For participation via Zoom, after completing the form, participants will receive the connection link to the platform. Additionally, the lessons will be broadcast live on the Facebook page of the Polytechnic University of Timişoara. The topics discussed, in line with the baccalaureate program, follow the content of the Collection of Mathematics Problems for the 2024 admission exam at UPT, published by the Polytechnic Publishing House, made freely available to those interested in electronic format.
Access to the Zoom audio-video communication platform can be done every Saturday, starting at 9:45. Similar initiatives have been undertaken by other universities in previous years, and the results have been encouraging.
