Galmopan, the largest bread producer in south-eastern Romania, has invested 4.5 million EUR in a biscuit factory focusing on the medium and premium product segments. The factory was opened in Zona Libera 2, in Braila, and includes the largest biscuit production line in Romania. Currently, the production line is undergoing technical tests.
The factory"s production capacity will reach 25 - 30 tons of biscuits per day.
Production will begin in August and the products will be launched on the domestic market in September. Galmopan also plans to expand to foreign markets in the future.
