GDF Suez Energy Romania S.A. yesterday announced intent to terminate natural gas deliveries to eight industrial consumers in Brasov as of 25 June. The most important name on the blacklist is CET Brasov, a heating company servicing households in the City of Brasov. CET Brasov currently owes over 60 million RON to GDF Suez Energy, penalties not included. According to a press release to BURSA, the decision was made after representatives of GDF Suez Energy and the Brasov Local Council met on 17 June to discuss CET"s debt to the gas company. The industrial consumers to be disconnected service condominia which have belated their payments to the Brasov-based heating company since the beginning of the year.
