Gealan Romania has announced a significant increase in sales of colour PVC window frames, specifically wood frames and acryl-coloured frames, compared to last year, when such sales only accounted for 30% of the company"s turnover. So far through 2009, sales of colour frames stand for 50% of the company"s sales, according to a press release to BURSA.
"We have noted a change in consumer preferences, which has been confirmed by changes in the weight of each product category within our turnover. Sales of white window frames accounted for 70% of our sales last year, but not this year, as consumers are no longer shy to choose other colours, which create a more pleasant and relaxing atmosphere in their home and better match the colour and texture of the facade and the indoor walls," said Gealan Romania CEO Aurel Vlaicu.
Of the numerous colours available for the Gealan wood-plated frames, the Siena Rosso and Siena Noce are by far the best selling as these nuances give a warm tone and easily match virtually any choice for interior decoration.
