EnglishGenerali Asigurari reported a gross premium volume of 99,709,000 RON for the first three months of the year, up by 49% year-on-year. The gross premium volume derived from life insurance stands at 14,924,000 RON and is 59% higher than in the year-ago period.
Some 75% of the overall life insurance volume was derived from individual contracts. Gross premiums subscribed on non-life insurance reached 84,785,000 RON, by some 48% more than in the previous year. Generali has a share capital of 50,000,000 RON and shareholders have decided to increase it by 70,000,000 RON by issuing 700,000,000 nominal shares with a face value of 0.1 RON.
