Yesterday, George Cojocaru was dismissed from the management position of the board of directors from Romexpo, position that will be taken by Ionel Gagu, the head of the Chamber of Commerce from Buzau, according to a decision of the shareholders of the exhibition center. Cojocaru has occupied this position since 1991. He is also the general manager of Romexo Company, for which the shareholders did not take a decision yet. The shareholders from Romexo also decided the substitution of other four directors from Romexpo, and namely: Aurelia Angela Şulea, Ştefan Popa, Florin Burada and Andrei Nicolae. Starting from Wednesday, the directors from Romexpo will be: Ionel Gagu, Apopii Mihai, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Neamt, Bacanu Nicolae, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Arad, Branescu Ioan, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Arges, Simoviciu Doru, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bacau and Vornic Sorin, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vrancea, a communique from Romexpo shows. A position is still vacant. All these changes inside the board of directors of Romexpo have been made at the request of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Romania, that had become since August, the major shareholder from Romexpo.
