The Spanish shareholders in Gran Via Ghencea in May decided to increase the company"s share capital by 43 million EUR by cash inflow, as well as to welcome two new associates, according to data published in the Official Gazette.
The new shareholders Gran Via 2007 (17%) and Strada 2006 (12.5%) have contributed 7.3 million EUR and, respectively 5.4 million EUR to the share capital increase. The majority shareholder is Promociones Y Construcciones Pyc Pryconsa, with 50% in the company, following a contribution of 21.5 million EUR. Gran Via 2006 contributed 8.8 million EUR and holds 20.5% in Gran Via Ghencea.
Spain"s Gran Via plans to build some 15,000 apartments in Romania over the next seven years. The total investment will reach 1 billion EUR. This year, Gran Via acquired the former Tricodava factory in the Drumul Taberei area, where the company will build over 2,000 apartments. The investment amounts to 185 million EUR.
