Grawe Insurance has applied for a license to broker mandatory private pensions (Pillar II) to the Private Pension System Supervisory Commission (CSSPP), according to CSSPP Chairman Mircea Oancea. For this purpose, Grawe intends to set up a distinct company, Grawe Pension Service Broker de Pensii Private SRL.
"For starters, Grawe intends to hire some 5,000 marketing agents to tasked to secure contracts for Pillar II pensions," said CEO Peter Kasyk, quoted by NewsIn. He added that Grawe was planning to also tap the optional private pension market (Pillar III), in addition to the mandatory private pension market.
