Unionists in the healthcare sector are advising all employees in the system whose January wages are now lower than they were in December 2009, to challenge this recalculation made on the basis of the new law of unified wages.
"All employees whose January salaries were lower than in December 2009, who did not receive an evaluation, whose bonuses were not included in the core salary or who no longer received bonuses they received or where supposed to receive in 2009 are advised to challenge this decision of the government", said Viorel Rotilă, the chairman of the Union "Federaţia Solidaritatea Sanitară" (FSSR).
The leader of the FSSR said that all the complaints gathered will be forwarded to the Territorial Agencies for Social Services. "If the social agencies do not solve the complaints to the benefit of employees within 10 days, we recommend the employees go to court", said Rotilă.
Unionists said that challenging of the recalculation of wages will be the first stage of the program of union protests which was assumed by union federations in the public sector, which are members of CNS Cartel ALFA.
