This, unique for the Cluj team, takes place after the most consistent summer of the last decade, in terms of money spent on player transfers. Rapid, CFR Cluj, FCSB, U Craiova, Farul sold and bought like in the good old days, all transactions being accompanied by a whole procession of words, often empty, frequently malicious. The names of some investors/financiers/creditors (Şucu, Varga, Becali, Rotaru) were used more often than those of footballers and coaches.
