Honorius Prigoană is going to start a new business. So far, nothing out of the ordinary, especially since he has taken over most of his father"s stakes in various companies.
Honorius Prigoană has brought Mugur Mihăescu, the well known member of comedian group "Vacanţa Mare", as partner in his business, together with other names less known to the general public. Last month, they have incorporated Rosal Development, whose main line of business is construction of residential and non-residential buildings.
Honorius Prigoană claims that the new company has a revolutionary solution for the construction industry in Romania, but which he did not want to reveal: "I don"t want to have competitors steal our idea. It will be something completely revolutionary in Romania. I expect we will begin our operations within two months at most, and what we are going to do will be a surprise for everyone".
His partner, Mugur Mihăescu, declined to provide any details, saying he wants to keep the secrecy for business reasons: "Once we have some signed papers, I"ll be able to tell you more".
"We will focus predominantly on the foreign markets", said Honorius Prigoană, when asked whether the company will target the domestic market or contracts with the Romanian state.
One of the other associates of the two is a Romanian citizen residing in the United States, which would seem to indicate that the Prigoană family will most likely expand its business across the Ocean, as it is already known that they own real estate businesses in Chicago.
In the US, Silviu Prigoană was associated wit the famous Adrian Tărău, who fled Romania after the scandal around his oil affairs, during the Năstase government.
