I say that the Constitutional Court should postpone until December 6th 2014, the ruling on the validity of the referendum, because then the referendum will be ready as well and if we hurried, then the Electoral Registry may be implemented as well and furthermore, on that day the presidential term of Traian Băsescu would expire as well, meaning that the decision would have all the right qualities -the correct lists of voters will be taken into consideration and regardless of who will validate the Referendum, no one will get mad then.
I think the Constitutional Court is lying when it says that it asked the Government for "the updated lists", rather than the "updating of the lists" based on which the Referendum was held, hiding behind this Rabbinic distinction, so that it wouldn't become clear that it changed its mind in the four days elapsed between the two statements (August 2nd, and August 6th, respectively).
I say that the Constitutional Court should give the Government a 29 days break, so the latter can send the former "the updated lists", because it is only a 10 minute ride between the Government's headquarters and that of the Parliament and a 30 year walk.
I say that, if it is not about "updating the data", then the Court can even render a decision tomorrow - OK, the day after tomorrow -, on the validity of the Referendum, rather than on August 31st, like it changed its mind on Friday, by moving the deadline for the ruling which had initially been set for September 12th.
I say that 29 days is not a reasonable enough deadline for "updating the lists" for a census, but if Ceauşescu had asked for it, then it would have gotten done and I think that this is what the Constitutional Court thought about.
I say that this is what Antonescu thought about, that he is some kind of Ceausescu himself and that he would get a complete census in just 29 days, just like Ceausescu wanted the five-year plan to be completed in less.
I think that Internal Affairs minister Ioan Rus wasn't willing to work like back in the days of Ceauşescu and that is why he opted to go to the seaside, together with young Mr. Ponta, who had no clue about what had happened.
I think that Crin Antonescu, when he says that Rus had reasons to resign, is criticizing him for not getting to work.
I say that the Minister of Internal Affairs Ioan Rus resigned when he saw how his subordinate, chief questor Constantin Manoloiu was plotting against him behind his back, who sent to the Constitutional Court an address which was not signed by his boss (who was at the seaside), informing that the Ministry of Internal Affairs can not vouch for the validity of the electoral lists, an address by which he overstepped his attributions and he is now being charged with abuse of office.
I say that Manoloiu is right.
I say that we are not actually capable of organizing elections using correct lists, but what is more important is that we are incapable of organizing fair elections, that everybody steals.
I say that the USL no longer speaks in a unified voice, like it did when its battle cry was "Jos Băsescu!"; instead, it has now come to the point where it's "Hail X, hail Y!", with Antonescu speaking out of sync with Ponta: the former criticizes the Minister of Internal Affairs who resigned, and the latter thanks him.
I say that Antonescu and Ponta were forced to appoint a neutral person in the Justice Ministry (Mona Pivniceru), because the interim president suspected that the prime minister would appoint prosecutor George George Bălan from the Supreme Council of Magistrates as Minister of Justice, the one who was accused that, together with magistrate Marcel Sâmpetru, he was trafficking secret information, obtained from chief commissioner Vlad Mihai, providing that information to the Prime Minister appointed by the PSD, to use against the National Liberal Party of Crin Antonescu.
I say that the Constitutional Court will invalidate the Referendum and will pass the responsibility to the Parliament.
I say..., but what does it matter what I say?!
We are paying 500 million Special Drawing Rights (SDR) to the IMF, out of a total of 13 billion lei, for which the grace period has expired.
Where are we paying that from?
Why isn't anybody saying anything about that?
I say that yes, we should be quiet.
Re-e-al quiet.
