Centre Ville, the leading aparthotel operator in Romania, has finished expansion and renovation works in the proprietary restaurant Le Bistro, following an overall investment of 2 million EUR. The restaurant has been expanded nearly three times to 224 seats. Comprehensive renovation works started in 2008, including partial demolition and reconstruction of walls, floors, ceilings, the kitchen and the lighting system. Five months later, the terrace and garden were finished, while the ground floor was re-opened in 2009.
"Initially designed as a creative breakfast alternative for the guests of the Centre Ville Aparthotel, Le Bistro has grown into one of the most appreciated restaurants in Bucharest," said Yaron Ashkenazi, General Manager of Centre Ville. His estimates for the first year of the re-opened restaurant point to approximately 140 customers per day and a turnover of some 850,000 EUR.
