Fiber optic cable manufacturer Iproeb Bistrita posted a turnover of 93.81 million RON (29.63 million EUR) in the first half of the year, thus marking a 63,49% increase from 57.38 million RON in the same period last year, according to a report to Rasdaq, quoted by NewsIn.
The company"s net profit amounted to 14.39 million RON (4.5 million EUR) in the first six months, up 2.2 times compared with 6.22 million RON in the corresponding period of 2006.
Iproeb Bistrita increased its share capital by 1.363 million RON (397,646 EUR), from 10.87 million RON to 12.23 million RON.
The majority shareholder in the company is Electromontaj Bucharest with 30.65%, followed by SIF Banat-Crisana with 5.36%. The company hyasd a capitalisation of 332.36 million RON (105 million EUR).
