Nine months through the year, cable manufacturer Iproeb - Bistrita (RASDAQ:IPRU) posted 22.12 million RON (6.6 million EUR) in net profit, up by 86.6% y/y amid a 32% increase in turnover to 131.72 million RON (39.25 million EUR) y/y.
The significant financial improvement was based on a 36.6% increase in production to 140.35 million RON, compared to 102.75 million RON in the year-ago period. In the first three quarters of 2007, Iproeb generated revenues of 133.88 million RON, up by 29.71% y/y, whereas expenses totaled 108.18 million RON, up by 21.25% y/y.
At the end of September 2007, Iproeb reported debts of 16.76 million RON, including 12.12 million RON to suppliers. The company has a share capital of 12.23 million RON divided into 40.78 million shares with a face value of 0.3 RON. The leading shareholder is Electromontaj - Bucharest with 30.65%. Iproeb is listed on RASDAQ as IPRU. The latest quotation of 8.6 RON (24th October) points to a market capitalization of 350.71 million RON (104.03 million EUR).
