US-based investment fund management firm Julius Baer Investment Management holds over 1% in each of the financial investment firms (SIFs) distinctly and together with others, according to announcements made to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
Julius Baer holds 1.69% in SIF1 Banat Crisana, 1.72% in SIF Moldova (SIF2), 1.54% in SIF3 Transilvania, 1.65% in SIF4 Muntenia and 1.63% in SIF5 Oltenia. The firm acts concertedly with 29 entities including Government of Bermuda Pension, Government of Bermuda Superannuation, Baer International Equitz Cayman, Julius Baer Global Equity Fund, The Boeing Company, University of Chicago, State of Hawaii Employee Retirement System, JP Morgan Central States Pension Fund, Nationwide Life Insurance Company, Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System and Julius Baer International Equity Fund.
A securities regulation stipulates that entities that hold, distinctly or concertedly with other entities, over 1% in a SIF have to thereby notify the SIFs and CNVM. Also, the respective SIF Board will suspend the voting rights for the shares that exceed 1%.
