Finnish-based Kemira Oy have announced the expansion of their operations in Romania through the establishment of a joint venture with the Slovenian-based JUB. The new company, Tikkurila JUB Romania is equally held by the two companies and is located in Bucharest. The official start of operations is July 2008. The Romanian paint market has been estimated at 180 million EUR and is likely to post a two-digit growth rate in the next few years.
