English"Hidroelectrica" has appointed "KPMG Romania" to audit its financial results for the year 2009, and for the first half of 2010. The value of the contract is about 1 million lei, according to an announcement posted on SEAP. This audit is required due to the launch of "Hidroenergetica" SA starting with July 1st, a company which will incorporate "Hidroelectrica", "ELCEN Bucureşti", the power plants in Paroşeni and Deva, as well as the "National Coal Company".
"KPMG" also serves as a consultant for "Electra" in the investigation of the Competition Council. The "Craiova Energy Complex" recently awarded "KPMG Romania" SRL a consulting contract of 1.135 million lei VAT excluded, in order to draw up the study for the Competition Council, and to audit the proforma financial results at December 31st, 2009 and the balance sheet for the period ending on June 30, 2010, needed for the creation of "Electra". "Electra" is a company which will include the energy complexes of Turceni, Rovinari, Craiova, several hydroelectric power plants and the "National Lignite Company".
