EnglishLibra Bank has increased capital by 17,654,704.4 RON from 136,345,295.6 RON to 154 million RON by issuing 176,547,044 new shares with a face value of 0.1 RON. The bank also increased capital by 4 million RON in April. Both actions were taken to ensure financing for the bank"s projects and programmes.
Romarta is the leading shareholder in Libra Bank with a bit over 33%. Broadhurst Investment Ltd. is the second largest shareholder with 31.49%. Libra Bank is a member of the US-based investment fund New Century Holdings, one of the leading foreign-based investors in Romania.
