EnglishLogicode, a company specialized in barcode technologies, estimates a turnover in excess of 2 million EUR for this year, according to Executive Manager Ciprian Cosma. "The turnover is likely to gain some 40% this year as barcode solutions are expanding fast among both foreign and Romanian companies," he said.
The Cluj-based company concluded last year with 1.7 million EUR in turnover. Among the leading customers are Coca Cola, Pepsi, Nestle, British American Tobacco.
"We sell solutions designed by Markem, a world leader in barcode solutions. I"m sure that competition will increase, considering that traceability enables companies to see what happens to their product from the production line to delivery and thus cut costs and improve competitiveness," Cosma explained.
