Braşov-based IASON SA, specializing in the manufacture and distribution of textile materials, saw its losses grow to 2.084 million lei in 2009, from 1.710 million lei, according to the preliminary financial statement sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The company"s turnover increased slightly, from 4.542 million lei to 4.636 million lei, whereas the company"s revenues dropped from 7.9 million lei to 4.331 million. However, the company reduced its expenses by one third, from 9.610 million lei to 6.408 million lei.
The company is controlled by Bucharest -based Romanoexport SA, which owns 86.23%, with the remaining 13.77% divided among other shareholders.
