EnglishGerman airline Lufthansa will introduce a number of flights to/from the Cluj International Airport as of next spring. Company representatives have met with Cluj County Council Chairman Marius Nicoara, to whom the airport is subordinated, to discuss details. Lufthansa said the decision was based on opportunities, conditions and the development projects contoured by the Cluj Airport. Flight routes and other technical details are going to be defined between Lufthansa and Cluj Airport representatives. Lufthansa is the largest airline in Germany and one of the largest in Europe. Cluj Airport is also used by Tarom, Alitalia, Malev and WizzAir.
