The Petrotel-Lukoil refinery of Ploieşti, controlled by Russian oil group Lukoil, will increase its share capital by 54.9 million lei, to 301.5 million lei, through a contribution in cash of the majority shareholder.
Lukoil Europe Holdings, registered in Holland, has subscribed shares worth 54.9 million lei (12.9 million Euros) as part of the share capital increase, and holds 95.6% of the company. As part of the operation, the refinery attracted 497 million lei in share premiums, Mediafax informs.
The share capital increase operation will be approved by shareholders on May 12th.
The Lukoil Group also owns a network of more than 300 gas stations in Romania.
