Mazda believes Romania has the greatest sales potential in the region and estimates sales will triple this year from 376 units last year to some 1,250 units in 2007. The company projects a market share of 1.2 - 1.4% at the end the year, up from 0.3% in 2006. Near-future objectives include reaching a 1.7% market share over the next three years. One of the means to do so is to increase the dealership network from three to ten in the next six months. The existing dealers are Mazrom Motors SRL, BDT - Business Development Team and Auto Xedos.
