McDonald"s Romania posted a 15% increase in turnover for H1 and is analyzing the option to open the first McCafe in the country. "We are considering introducing the McCafe concept in Romania, too, but I cannot give you a date," company representatives told NewsIn. In the meantime, McDonald"s has introduced wireless internet service in the restaurants.
McDonald"s Romania, a subsidiary of McDonald"s Corporation, operates some 50 restaurants in the country. Expansion plans include a gradual increments in sync with the average purchasing power. Globally, McDonald"s operates in over 100 countries having some 30,000 restaurants and 447,000 employees.
