Mecanica Ceahlau has increased its share capital by 2.22 million RON (707,308 EUR), the amount coming from last year"s net profit, according to a company report quoted by NewsIn. The company issued 888,380 shares with a face value of 2.50 RON.
The company ended 2006 with a net profit of 2.9 million RON, up 4.6 times from 624,060 RON in 2005. Turnover amounted to 29.97 million RON, a 3.33% increase from 29 million in 2005.
Presently, Mecanica Ceahlau has a share capital of 11.1 million RON, divided into 4.44 million shares with a face value of 2.50 RON. The majority shareholder is SIF Moldova with 55.18% in the company, followed by Broker Cluj (14.73%) and MEI Roemenie & Bulgarije Fonds NV (5.23%). The company is listed on Tier 2 of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as MECF.
