Romanian-owned electronics & appliances retailer Altex has opened the first Media Galaxy store in Pitesti. Located in the Jupiter City Mall, the store has a display surface of 3,000 square meters and carries over 30,000 electronic products, home appliances, computers and accessories, multimedia and entertainment devices. Executive Director Adrian Urda explained pointed out that the Media Galaxy chain was unique on the Romanian market because it carried the largest array of entertainment-oriented products. "The opening of the Media Galaxy store in Pitesti is the result of a 1 million EUR investment. Approximately 60 jobs have been created," Urda added. The Media Galaxy chain comprises 18 stores across the country. Media Galaxy is a brand of Altex and offers the option to pay for products in 20 instalments without any interest.
