miniMax Discount has opened a new store, located in Vulcan, Brasov County. The investment stands at 750,000 EUR, bringing the miniMax chain in Romania to 28 stores, the discounter announced.
The store measures 1,057 square metres and has 32 parking spaces. "We are in the middle of our expansion plan. By opening this store, we make sure that we keep a balance mix of easily accessible stores in both medium-sized and large communities," said miniMax Discount CEO Rainer Exel. Each new miniMax store creates 20 job opportunities.
The miniMax chain includes another 27 stores located in Arad, Avrig, Buzau, Calan, Calarasi, Campulung Muscel, Cernavoda, Cisnadie, Hunedoara, Mangalia, Oltenita, Oravita, Pascani, Pucioasa, Ramnicu Sarat, Rasnov, Sinaia, Slatina (2), Stefanesti, Targoviste, Titu, Turnu Magurele, Urziceni, Tulcea, Vaslui and Victoria, as well as a 15,000 square metre warehouse in Bucharest. The long-term plans of the company include a target of 100+ stores countrywide.
The miniMax Discount chain is controlled by the Austrian group Real 4 You.
